The word Bhog is used in many different contexts - Mahan Kosh gives 11 definitions but there are certainly many more. They range from 'finishing' to 'enjoyment' Guru Gobind Singh writing the story of Usha & Aniruddha mentions four types of Bhog *pleasure* ਚਾਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਕੋ ਭੋਗ ਕੀਓ ਨਰ ਨਾਰਿ ਹੁਲਾਸ ਹੀਯੈ ਮੈ ਬਢੈ ਕੈ ॥ The man and woman *Usha & Aniruddha* to heighten delight in their heart performed the four types of 'bhog' *enjoyment* ਆਸਨ ਕੋਕ ਕੇ ਬੀਚ ਜਿਤੇ ਕਬਿ ਭਾਖਤ ਹੈ ਸੁ ਸਬੈ ਇਨ ਕੈ ਕੈ ॥ The Poet says they performed all the positions written within the text of Koka *Ratirahasya* ਬਾਤ ਕਹੀ ਅਨਰੁਧ ਕਛੂ ਮੁਸਕਾਇ ਤ੍ਰੀਆ ਸੰਗ ਨੈਨ ਨਚੈ ਕੈ ॥ Aniruddha laughed a little while dancing his eyes flirtatiously to Usha and said: ਜਿਉ ਹਮਰੀ ਤੁਮ ਹੁਇ ਰਹੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਿ ਤਿਉ ਹਮ ਹੂ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਰਹੈ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਕੈ ॥ 'Oh beauty, like you've become mine, I've become yours as well" - [[Krishnavatar]], verse 2205 I've translated the passage below and provided two different readings of the four types Kahn Singh Nabha writes they are 1) caressing 2) embracing 3) kissing 4) intercourse Randhir Singh says they are: 1) caressing 2) kissing 3) scratching/biting 4) intercourse Texts on love making, like the Koka, or Ratirahasya, was said to be translated in the Anandpur Darbar by the son of one of the most famous Brajbhasha poets, Keshavdas.
