ਖਤ੍ਰੀ ਸੁਭਾਵ ਬਰਨਨੰ ॥ ਸਵੈਯਾ ॥ The Description of the Nature of a Warrior ਸੂਰਮਾ ਜੁਧ ਤੇ ਭਾਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੇਜ ਰੂਪ ਵਹੁ ਚਤੁਰ ਸੁਜਾਨ ॥ A warrior is one who never departs from the field of battle, with a splendorous form they are clever and intelligent.  ਧੀਰਜਵੰਤ ਦਾਨ ਮੈਂ ਦਾਤਾ ਈਸਰ ਬਿਖੈ ਨਿਤ ਅਰਪੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ॥ A possessor of resolve, a giver of charity, and always ready to donate their life for Ishvar. ਪਰ ਉਪਕਾਰੀ ਸੁਖ ਸਭ ਦੇਵੈ ਖਤ੍ਰੀ ਬਰਨ ਕੋ ਐਸਾ ਜਾਨ ॥ Giving happiness to all, they always serve others, recognize the class of warriors as such. ਆਤਮ ਧਰਮ ਮੈਂ ਨਿਤ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਰਹਤਾ ਐਸਾ ਪੁਰਖ ਜਾਨੋ ਪਰਧਾਨ ॥64॥ As a constant practice they always instill within them the awareness of the Self, recognize such a person as supreme. ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਗੀਤਾ, ਕ੍ਰਿਤ: ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ [[Dasam Guru Granth Sahib/Dasam|Dasam]] [[Dasam Guru Granth Sahib/Gobind Gita|Gobind Gita]] ![[warriors.JPG]] [[Dasam Guru Granth Sahib/Gobind Gita]], author: Guru Gobind Singh [[Dasam Guru Granth Sahib/Dasam]]
