The demon Bīrajnād within the Sarbloh Granth battles against Sarbloh Avatar. In a beautiful play Guru Gobind Singh writes that this is such an exalted position because he will obtain the darshan, divine sight, of Sarbloh, the Divine. This is all due to the fact that he has held strong to the skill and practice of Shastar Vidiya, the science of weapons, and martial traditions. To hear more about this, listen to the soundcloud link at the bottom of the page. ਸਾਧਤਿ ਦੁਰਤ ਤਪਸ੍ਯਾ ਬਿਧਿਵਤ ਕੋਟਿ ਜੁਗ ਕਲਪਨ ਬਰਖੇਰੋ ।। Indra may meditate carefully, and endure millions of different austerities, through the ages and billions of years. ਤਦ੍ਯਪਿ ਨ ਰੀਝਤਿ ਦੇਵ ਦੇਵਧਿਪ ਲਖ ਨ ਸਕਤਿ ਕੋਊ ਮਰਮ ਤਿਸੇਰੋ ।। Even then he has not pleased and seen Hari, nor have they understood or comprehended You! ਲਹ੍ਯੋ ਨ ਬਰ ਐਸੋ ਕਹੂੰ ਕਬਹੂੰ ਮਨ ਬਾਛਿਤ ਬਰ ਲਾਭ ਅਭੇਰੋ ।। No one has ever received such a blessing, in my mind I have desired to gain such an unattainable treasure. ਬਡੇ ਭਾਗ ਨਿਸਚਰ ਕੇ ਲਹਿਯਤਿ, ਕਰਤਿ ਬਿਰੋਧ ਪਾਵ ਦਰਸੇਰੋ ।। A great fortune has been attained by me, this demon, who through fighting against Hari have come to attain their Darshan.
