ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਵੰਤ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਸਗਲ ਤਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਭ੍ਯੋ ਗੋਰਿ ॥ ਮੁਹਿਸੈ ਰੰਕ ਅਨਾਥ ਜਗ ਭਟਕਤਿ ਫਿਰਤਿ ਕਰੋਰਿ ॥4॥ The entire Khalsa is so benevolent, through their grace I became radiant. Otherwise there are countless helpless beggars like me who roam and wander the world. ਸੇਵ ਖਾਲਸਹਿ ਕੀ ਸਫਲ ਪੂਜਾ ਸਤ੍ਵਨ ਅਰਘ ਪਾਦ ॥ ਦਾਨੁ ਮਾਨੁ ਸਨੁਮਾਨ ਕਰਿ ਖੋੜਸਿ ਬਿਧਿ ਕਹੁ ਸ੍ਵਾਦ ॥5॥ Service to the Khalsa is fruitful; their worship, praise, washing their feet, Charity, respect, admiration - these (few) bring the delight of the sixteen different types of service to a deity. ਆਨ ਸੇਵ ਨਹਿ ਸਫਲ ਕਛੁ ਈਤ ਊਤ ਪਰਲੋਕ ॥ ਨਿਹਫਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਤਿਸ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਬੀ ਹਰਖ ਕਬਿ ਸੋਕ ॥6॥ Service to anything else is not fruitful - not anywhere here or in the afterlife. Without serving the Khalsa - it is all fruitless; you're left with sometimes happiness and sometimes sorrow. ਜਜਨ ਭਜਨ ਮਮ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਖਾਲਸ ਪੂਜਬਿ ਜੋਗ ॥ ਦਾਸ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਫਤਹ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਦਰਸ ਪਰਸ ਮਿਟਿ ਸੋਗ ॥7॥ Worship and love my Khalsa - the Khalsa is worthy of such worship. The servant Gobind says, Victory to the Khalsa! Obtaining their sight destroys sorrow! ਮੇਰੋ ਇਸਟ ਰੁ ਨੇਸਠਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਪੂਜਨ ਧ੍ਯਾਨੁ ॥ ਦਰਸਨ ਪਰਸਨ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਰੂਪ ਸਤਿ ਜਾਨੁ ॥8॥ My beloved is the Khalsa and on them I have firm faith, they are my devotional focus. The sight and company of the Khalsa is the very form of liberation - understand this to be true! ਆਤਮ ਰਸ ਜੇ ਜਾਨਹੀ ਸੋ ਹੈ ਖਾਲਸ ਦੇਵ ॥ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮਹਿ ਮੋ ਮਹਿ ਤਾਸ ਮਹਿ ਰੰਚਕਿ ਨਾਹਿਨ ਭੇਵ ॥1॥ਰਹਾਉ॥ Those who understand the essence/taste of the Atma (the Self), they are the divine Khalsa!
