ਕਬਿ ਬਾਚ ॥ The Poet's *Guru Gobind Singh's* Words
ਕਾਮ ਸੰਗ ਯਤਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਾਰਜੁ ਅਰੁ ਬਸਤੁ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਜੁੱਟੇ ਸਮਰ ॥
'Kaam' *Desire* faced off against 'Restraint', 'Celibacy' and 'Analytical Thinking of Reality' in the battlefield.
ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਸੰਗਮ ਛਿਮਾ ਸੀਲ ਜੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਤੁ ਆਹਵ ਪਰਸ ਪਰ ॥
'Krodh' *Anger* fought against 'Forgiveness' and 'Softness/Humility', yelling out to each other in the battlefield.
ਲੋਭੁ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੰਤੋਖ ਧੀਰਜ ਜੁਟੇ ਸੰਘਰ ਧਨੁਖ ਸਰ ॥
'Lobh' *Greed* faced off against 'Contentment' and 'Forbearance', battling each other with bows and arrows.
ਇਨ ਕੋ ਸਨਾਤਨਿ ਵੈਰ ਜੁਗ ਜੁਗ ਬਿਦਿਤ ਸ੍ਰੁਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਚੁਰ ॥
From the most ancient of times, and in all four ages, these enemies fight against each other; this is expounded upon in the Vedas and Shaastras.

Sarbloh Granth ends off with an allegorical battle between all the Virtues against the Vices, under the generals of Bibek *Discerning Intellect* fighting against Abibek *Ignorance*. This follows a similar framework with the very famous Advaita Vedanta play the Prabodhcandrodaya, also known as the Prabodh Chandra Natak (in Pandit Gulab Singh's version). Guru Gobind Singh writes another similar allegorical battle at the end of the Parasnath Katha in Rudravatar in Dasam Guru Granth Sahib, starting at page 697.
