# Gurbilas Patshahi Chevin *1718 · attributed to Bhagat Singh* Gurbilas Patshahi Chevin is a historical narrative on the sixth Guru, Guru Hargobind — the only fully comprehensive history of his life. The text's creation is associated with the Giānīā Bungā in Amritsar and tied to Bhai Mani Singh Shahid, and many of its passages insert Mani Singh into the dialogue (see [[Mani Singh & Daya Singh]]). Scholars have given it a wide date range — some placing it as early as 1718, others as late as 1780 or even 1843.
