# Vichar Sagar
*19th century · Pandit Nischal Das*
The *Vichar Sagar* ("Ocean of Contemplation") is Pandit Nischal Das's nineteenth-century vernacular treatise on Advaita Vedānta — among the most widely read works of nondual philosophy in North India, and influential within Sikh Nirmala and Udasi circles. Manglacharan draws on it for the tradition's engagement with Vedānta.
