> **ਸਵੈਯਾ । ਪਾਇ ਦੁਗਾੜਾ ਬੰਦੂਕ ਬਿਖੇ, ਤਕ ਕੇ ਸੁ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਪਠਾਣ ਚਲਾਇਓ ।
> **The Pattan placed two bullets in his barrel and aimed before shooting

> **ਫੂਲਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੋ ਮਾਥਾ ਸੋ ਫੋੜ ਗਈ, ਤਈ ਲਾਗਤ ਹੀ ਸੁਰਧਾਮ ਸਿਧਾਇਓ ।
> **The bullet ripped *Akali* Phula Singh's forehead apart, when it struck he travelled to the heavens
>
> **ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਚਲੇ ਤੀਹ ਬਖਾਨ ਇਹੀ, ਨਹਿ ਰੰਚਕ ਹੂੰ ਗਜ ਪਾਛੇ ਹਿਲਾਇਓ ।
> **He took 30 breathes its said and didn't not even in the slightest move the elephant back
>
> **ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਿਓ ਇਤ ਮੇਂ ਗੁਰ ਕੋ, ਤਬ ਦੇਹ ਕੋ ਤਿਆਗ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਹੋ ਧਾਇਓ ।99।
> **His attention was focused upon the Guru, and then the martyr left his body.
>
> **ਦੋਹਰਾ । ਫੂਲਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਉ ਮਾਰਕੇ, ਭਏ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਪਠਾਣ ।
> **The Pattans were in joy having killed Phula Singh
>
> **ਅਬ ਸਿੰਘਨ ਕਉ ਜੀਤ ਹੈ, ਮੂਯੋ ਬੜੋ ਬਲਵਾਨ ।100।
> **Now victory against the Singhs is clear, after this powerful warrior has been killed.
>
> **ਕਬਿੱਤ । ਫੂਲਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੰਘਨ ਮੇਂ ਭਯੋ ਹੈ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਇਹ, ਤੁਰਕਨ ਕਉ ਸੰਗ ਜੰਗ ਕੀਓ ਜੋ ਅਪਾਰ ਹੈ ।
> **Phula Singh obtained Shahidi amongst other Singhs, who were conducting an endless battle against the Turks
>
> **ਔਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੰਗ ਗੰਗ ਅਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰ, ਪਾਈ ਮੋਖ ਪਦਵੀ, ਸੋ ਭਯੋ ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰ ਹੈ ।
> **Many other Singhs in battle bathed in the Ganges, purifying themselves obtaining liberation, the cries of victory sounded off *as they traveled to the heavens*
>
> **ਪੰਥ ਪੈਜ ਰਾਖਣ ਕਉ ਸੀਸ ਦੀਣੋ ਭਲੀ ਭਾਂਤ, ਜੀਤ ਕੈ ਦੁਰਾਨੀ ਜਸ ਲੀਣੋ ਸੁਭ ਸਾਰ ਹੈ ।
> **To keep the honour of the Panth they gave their head in such an incredible way, defeating the Durranis, obtaining such fine praise
>
> **ਫਰੰਗੀ ਹੂੰ ਕੇ ਜੀਤਨ ਕੀ ਹੋਤੀ ਰਿਸ ਸਦਾ ਮਨ, ਆਵੇਗੋ ਭੁਜੰਗੀ ਸੋ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰ ਹੈ ।101।
> **They always had the desire to fiercely defeat the Europeans, thinking, the Shahids will take form as Bhujangis to kill them
>
> **ਦੋਹਰਾ । ਫੂਲਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਜਬ ਮਾਰਿਓ, ਸੁਣੀ ਸਾਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ।
> **When the entire leadership heard of Phula Singh's death
>
> **ਐਸੋ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਹਾਬਲੀ, ਵਿਰਲਾ ਹਮ ਦਰਬਾਰ ।102।
> **They said, 'what a rare powerful Singh we had in our court'
